PURPOSE:To prevent trouble due to coating with a matting agent, by dispersing the matting agent together with a specified polymer and an anionic surfactant. CONSTITUTION:The outermost layer contains an anionic surfactant, a matting agent, and a homopolymer and/or a copolymer having recurring units each having general formulaIor II in which R1 and R2 are each H, halogen, OH, COOH, alkoxycarbonyl, 1-6C alkyl, phenyl, sulfoalkyl, or pyrrolidone, and R3, R4 are each OH or COOH. The matting agent is added to an aq. soln of the surfactant and dispersed, the polymer is added, and the mixture is added to an aq. soln. of gelatin to obtain a protective film liquid. A photosensitive material is coated with this liquid as the outermost layer. |
