PURPOSE:To enable to use as an element thus improve easiness to use and restrain thermal noises in a resistance part by a method wherein an infrared rays detection part and a resistance part formed of semiconductor materials are electrically connected each other and incorporated into an integral body. CONSTITUTION:The infrared ray detection part 1a receives and detects infrared rays and is formed of semiconductor material. Electrodes 6 and 7 are connected to the both ends of the infrared ray detection part 1a. Further, the load resistance part 2a is formed of the same semiconductor material as the infrared ray detection part 1a, and connected to the electrodes 5 and 6. Then, it is covered with e.g. infrared ray reflection member so that the resistance value does not vary by infrared rays. Thus, in the infrared ray detection element 1 wherein the infrared ray detection part 1a and the load resistance part 2a are incorporated into an integral body, a DC power source is connected between the electrodes 5 and 7, and the output is taken out by connecting one end of a condenser to the electrode 6. |
