In the timber drier (1), reversible drying air is circulated in a primary circuit for absorption of moisture from the wood in a drying chamber (2). The moist air is heat-exchanged with freon in an evaporation battery (10) forming part of a secondary circuit in which freon gas is compressed and fed to a condenser battery (13). In the battery, the gas is compressed under heat-exchange with the circulating drying air and fresh in-fed air, and then is converted to liq. On each side of the condenser battery is a heat battery (6). The lathe is priority-connected dependent upon the direction of circulation of the drying air. The secondary circuit also contains a condensing temp. control valve (14), stagelessly controlled by a manoeuvring unit (15), to achieve the lowest possible condensation temp. |
