<p>Prior art bathroom and other scales are a poor aid to weight control because they are unable to detect and indicate progress made as a result of a diet program. The invention is a diet scale having a weight progress indicator for indicating progress in a diet program. The scale measures the current weight of the dieter and has a memory that stores an objective weight for the dieter. The scale measures and displays the current weight and the difference between objective weight and the current weight. The scale may also include an objective time entry for the diet program and a display of the deviation between the current weight and the projected weight at the then current time.</p> |
