PURPOSE:To transmit correctly pulse information for a fault of a transmission line which is generated in a comparatively short time or a defect of a master station, by measuring the number of pulses to be transmitted, and transmitting the pulse information including the information of said measurement. CONSTITUTION:A pulse input 100 is integrated by a pulse integrator 13, and this output of integration is delivered from a transmitter 11 to a transmission line 301 with the timing of 102. A master station 20 receives the output and lead the old information 202 and the new information under reception into a differential pulse generator 24 to detect the difference 204 and then the repalce the information of a storage circuit 22. Then a pulse 200 of the differential number obtained from detection of the generator 24 is delivered. Now if the line 301 or the station 20 has a fault, the integrator 13 of a slave station performs a continuous integration of pulse 100. Then the integral value received first is compared with the data obtained immediately before generation of the fault as long as it is within a time during which the integral value is not reset to the level obtained before generation of the fault or does not exceed said level. Then the differential pulse obtained from the above-mentioned comparison is delivered to prevent an error of the pulse number. |
