PURPOSE:To make it possible to switch automatically a draining operation to a water supplying operation and vise versa in response to a change in temperature by a method wherein the changeover valve is energized by a drive means connected to a thermoswitch and changeover switches. CONSTITUTION:A valve body 1 is provided with a hot water supply pipe connecting port 3, a pressure reducing water supply pipe connecting port 6 and a service water supply pipe connecting port 9 and rotary valves for opening and closing the above mentioned ports are provided coaxially with the ports, respectively. Further, drain pipe connecting ports 4 and 10 projecting outwardly of the valve body 1 are provided so as to correspond to the connecting ports 6 and 9. The rotary valves are rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise by a motor M through gears 17-21 to thereby switch the water supplying operation to the draining operation and vise versa. The motor M is connected in series with the changeover switches 28 and 28' and a thermostat T such that the rotational direction of the motor M is switched from clockwise to counter-clockwise and vise versa by reversing the flow direction of an electric current supplied to the motor through the changeover switches 28 and 28'. |
