<p>PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption at the time of operation of an electronic computer by providing a power source control unit in a constitution control device and cutting off the power source unit of a separated device automatically. CONSTITUTION:In the case where an arithmetic processing unit 2 is separated at the time of rising of an electronic computer, separation information is inputted first to a constitution control device 4 from a control panel, etc. Then, when power source is made, the electronic computer separates the arithmetic processing unit 2 automatically, and cuts off power source unit for power source device 6, and starts operation. In the case where a hardware error occurred in the arithmetic processing unit 2 during operation and recurrent operation occurred, the constitution control device 4 separates the arithmetic processing unit 2 on the basis of the result of self diagnosis sent in, and gives an instruction to a power source control unit 8 to cut off power source for arithmetic processing unit 6. Successively, the constitution control device 4 gives an instruction for initializing to other unit, and resumes operation initializing the electronic computer.</p> |
