<p>PURPOSE:To measure the insulation resistance of condensers at a high accuracy by providing a function of determining whether the measuring range should be changed over or not and a function of setting the measuring range after changed over at a higher level than that before the change over thereof. CONSTITUTION:A circuit comprising an output signal of the measuring results from a terminal 16 and a 2-input comparator circuit 19, a latch circuit 18, a digital switch 17 and the like functions to determine whether or not the measuring range should be changed over. A circuit comprising an output signal of the measuring results from a terminal 20 and a decoder 21, a latch circuit 22 and the like changes over the range employing a signal of decision on changing over the range and also performs a function of automatically setting the range after switched at a higher level than before the change over thereof. These functions thus arranged makes a digital megger capable of measuring the insulation resistance of a capacitive sample (condensers) of a high insulation resistance at a high accuracy.</p> |
