PURPOSE:To wind a film well, by cancelling the downward load, which acts due to the increase in the quantity of the film wound around a winding core, with the upward load of weights, which acts to the winding core through a pinion and a rack, so that the load upon the film is kept constant. CONSTITUTION:As the quantity of a film 3 wound around a winding core 2 increases, a rack 5 is moved up as shown by an arrow A and a pinion 6 is turned as shown by an arrow B, so that arms 7a, 7b are revolved. The resultant of the moments which act to the pinion 6 due to weights 8a, 8b secured on the arms 7a, 7b is applied to the winding core 2 through the rack 5 so that upward load nearly equal to the weight of the film 3 acts to the winding core. The downward load based on the increase in the wound quantity of the film 3 is thus canceled with the upward load based on the weights 8a, 8b, so that the tensile load acting to the film 3 in the direction of its winding movement is kept constant. |
