PURPOSE:To make a winder compact in structure, by letting an empty bobbin make contact with a driving roller in a state of being accelerated almost equal speed with the roller's speed of rotation and obviating an adverse effect on the winding evenness, while drive-controlling both the driving roller and a bobbin chuck with only one inverter. CONSTITUTION:When winding work takes place, first of all, an empty bobbin (a) is attached to a bobbin chuck 5, then both an inverter 10 and a controller 12 are set at the specified winding speed and thereby the synchronous motor of a driving roller 3 is rotated. Next, a switch 11 is turned on, energizing a driving motor 6 with a continuous rating current, and the bobbin chuck 5 is rotated upon drive- controlling by means of the inverter 10. Successively the speed of rotation of the bobbin chuck 5 is detected by a speed detector 8 and the switch 11 is turned off by the controller 12, rotating the bobbin chuck 5 with the force of inertia. And the driving roller 3 is made to go down by a cylinder 7 via a bracket 2, rotating the empty bobbin (a), and then a yarn filament on a thread guide device 9 is wound over traverse operation by a traverse unit 4. |
