The invention relates to a collecting carriage for cut peat. It is intended to be coupled to a working machine and to be pulled by this machine. The collecting carriage comprises wheels, a container 1 for the cut peat which is to be collected and a conveyor which is in the rear part of the container and which in particular consists of a belt 3 or the like which is provided with scraping members 4. The belt is intended to transport the cut peat, which is to be collected and laid in rows, from the cutting field into the top of the container 1. For the purpose of transferring the peat to the conveyor belt 3, the collecting carriage possesses a feeding drum 9 which is provided with scraping members 10 or the like and whose peripheral speed is adjusted to be greater than the speed of the belt of the conveyor 3. <IMAGE>
