PURPOSE:To facilitate the entering of a trailer truck by arranging a horizontal weir plate entirely lengthwise inside a vertical column of a vertical section in a skid adapted to be carried removably on a trailer for transporting a long-sized object or the like. CONSTITUTION:A skid 1 with a roughly U-shaped cross-section is placed on a truck 2 of a trailer to carry a load 3 thereon. A rail 6 and a support material 7 are arranged on the top 5 of the skid 1 to retain a load 3. Then, the vertical section 9 of the skid 1 has a number of vertical columns 10 and a horizontal column 11 to support them and notches 12 are formed at lower angular sections at front and rear ends of the skid 1. Weir plates 14 are arranged vertically and horizontally at a proper interval entirely lengthwise inside the vertical section 9. This facilitates the entering of the truck 2 of the trailer preventing it 2 from being caught by the inner surface of the vertical section 9 when the truck 2 passes under the skid 1 set on the ground. |
