PURPOSE:To strengthen the fixing of a rotor magnet to a rotor pinion by a method wherein a rotor pinion with a cutaway groove and a rotor magnet are formed unitarily for the elimination of a process of pressing the rotor pinion into the rotor magnet, when magnetic powder is formed into a rotor magnet under pressure. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of magnetic powder of rare earth intermetallic compound of SmCo5 and epoxy resin acting as a binder is placed in a mold with a rotor pinion 5 set therein. The rotor magnet 6 and rotor pinion 5 are made unitarily with the entirety exposed to a magnetic field of 10kOe or more for the orientation of the magnetic powder. The rotor magnet 6 integrated with the rotor pinion 5 is solidified under heat for the completion of a rotor. A cutaway groove 7 is provided on the rotor pinion 5 in the wall thereof facing the magnet 6 before the process begins, whereinto raw powder is pressed before solidification for the strengthening of adhesion between the rotor pinion 5 and rotor magnet 6. |
