<p>The installation comprises a sepg. tank located above a removable, mud reception vessel. The tank and vessel are connected via an isolating valve. Pref. the sepg. tank is in the form of a vertical cylindrical vessel with a conically convergent base section leading into the isolating valve. Pref. the mud reception vessel is fitted with an air vent valve at the top and a drain valve near the base. Pref. the sepg. tank is equipped with a floating cover which rides on top of liq. in the tank. The cover has an upward, vertical edge flange around which a floating liq. seal prevents entry of air between cover flange and tank wall. The cover rises towards a central venting neck, pref. equipped with plug or valve. The top of the sepg. tank can be closed with a static cover pref. equipped with filling port and vent valve.</p> |
