PURPOSE:To enhance the sealing reliability of a cooled nozzle by a structure wherein a sealing member is inserted in recesses formed on the surfaces opposite to each other at the internal periphery of a tubular sleeve and the external periphery of a nozzle body. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle body 11 is equipped with a needle hole 12 and a fuel oil passage 14 communicating to a spray oil well 13. Recesses 25 are formed on the surfaces opposite to each other at the internal periphery of a tubular sleeve 20 and the external periphery of the nozzle body 11. Sealing metal 26 is flowed into a gap 24 in a form of plastic flow state. The oil-tight or sealed structure is obtained for coolant passages 22 and 23. IN such a manner as described above, the yield and sealing reliability of nozzles are enhanced. In addition, the sealing operation of nozzle necessitates no baking of the nozzles in a furnace and can easily be accomplished by the cold work with a metal die. |
