The crematorium furnace has a purifier which allows discharge of the gases into the enVironment, the passages through which they flow being lined with purifying carbon. The equipment can be completely airtight, apart from the outlet directing the gases into the passages, which can be in a zigzag pattern, causing the gas and effluent to flow for a considerable distance. They can end at the base of the chimney, which can accommodate a filter. |
