<p>The invention relates to an apparatus for the automatic expression of citrus fruit, having the shape of an elongate right prism, an electric motor with a gearing system being arranged in the lower part and being connected by appropriate transmission means to the upper pressure bridge which causes the movement of the positioning arm, a cam disc moving the arms of two flippers and a filling funnel with a retention device being provided, and a trident raising the citrus fruit above the level of the retaining device, so that the citrus fruit falls onto a guide plate on which it is pressed against a knife which cuts the citrus fruit into two halves, these halves are passed to the flippers which arrange the citrus fruit halves underneath the presses and, when the upper bridge with the presses is lowered, the juice is pressed out and is collected in a container. <IMAGE></p> |
