PURPOSE:To prevent an engine stall by a method wherein when the vehicle speed is below a predetermined value under a condition in which a throttle valve is fully closed, the opening degree of a throttle bypass valve is made larger than its learned opening degree at the time of feedback control of the number of revolutions of the engine. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit controls the width of a pulse signal to a fuel injection valve and an electromagnetic air control valve (EACV) provided in a throttle bypass passage on the basis of values detected by an air intake quantity sensor, a water temperature sensor, a rotation angle sensor, a throttle sensor and a vehicle speed sensor. Further, the control circuit detects whether or not the idling revolution feedback control is carried out at Step 302. Thus, when it is detected at steps 304 and 305 that the throttle valve is fully closed and the vehicle speed is less than about 10km/h while no feedback control is carried out, the EACV is controlled so that it opens wider than the learned opening degree during the feedback control. |
