<p>PURPOSE:To make repair easily without stopping operation by bringing a backing strap provided with a hole into a body so as to locate the hole in the defect part of the body, welding the backing strap and the body, driving a plug into the hole and welding the same. CONSTITUTION:A hole B for driving of a plug is provided to a backing strap A in conformity with the ejection port in the defect part D of a body L which is a pipe or a vessel. The strap A is brought into contact with the body C so as to locate the hole B in the part D of the body C, and the strap and the body are welded F. A plug G is driven into the hole B thereafter, and the plug G and the strap A are welded H. The defect part is easily repaired in the stage of ejection.</p> |
