PURPOSE:To raise original feeding performance, and a realize an inexpensive device of a simple constitution, by providing an original holding member on a belt-shaped closed end sheet member. CONSTITUTION:The title device is constituted of a belt 2 for carrying an original 7, a pulley 3 for carrying the original 7 on the belt 7 to an irradiated point 11a of a lamp 11 of an electrostatic copying machine 10, etc., and returning it to its original position, and an original holding sheet 6 consisting of a transparent elastic member for inserting and holding the belt 2 and the original 7, and holding and copying them. In case this device has been attached to the electrostatic copying machine, the pulley 3 is rotated in the direction 3a by a driving system, by which the original is carried successively to the irradiated point 11a of the lamp 11 of the electrostatic copying machine 10, etc., the processing such as copying, etc., is executed, and the original 7 is returned to its original position. In this way, an original whose size or shape is different from a fixed form can also be fed, the original feeding performance is raised, and a device of a simple constitution can be realized.
