A control valve (1) for a dosing device for dosing in particular foods such as milk or yogurt with food pieces has, displaceable in a valve housing (6), a valve plunger (7) with, arranged along the same at a distance from one another on control pistons (17, 18), two valve surfaces (8, 9) which interact alternately in each case with an upper and lower valve seat (11, 12) delimiting a control space (10) provided in the valve housing (6). The upper valve pairing consisting of valve surface (8) and valve seat (11) controls the supply of filling material to the control space (10) and the lower valve pairing (9, 12) the discharge of filling material from the same into a cup or the like. The control space (10) is connected to the dosing device. When the upper valve pairing is closed and the lower valve pairing is opened for the purpose of discharge of filling material, the lower control piston (18) emerges downwards from the valve housing (6). At least two radially extending stream cutters (19, 20) are provided, which are distributed uniformly around the valve plunger (7) and which extend axially upwards from the valve surface (9). Both the valve plunger (7) and the stream cutters (19, 20) are, in their mutually adjacent regions, at least partially reduced in their supporting cross-sections in order to favour the passage of solid or semi-solid ingredients, in particular food pieces. <IMAGE>
