The problem of the circulation of heat pumps is that the efficiency of the required heat exchangers, such as evaporators, is very low. By using metal balls, the heat transfer can however be substantially improved without the flow resistance being increased, something which is not possible using vanes. It is also possible in this way to assemble a row of condensers in an evaporator, something which is required for the application of the heating tubes.
