In the cleaning of toilets, it is advantageous to dispense into the bowl a cleaning composition containing a halogen releasing compound, for example alkaki metal hypochlorite, which serves to disinfect the bowl. The cleaning composition also contains a detergent, fragrance, and dye. A dispenser is used comprising a product chamber means for discharging and filling the dispenser and vent means. The dispenser may have at least two product chambers one for a detergent and dye constituent and another for a disinfectant. The present specification discloses in particular a passive dispenser comprising one or more product chambers and means adapted to fill the product chamber, as well as means to dispense the solution therefrom.
