The object of the invention is to obtain a system of restraining oil as disaster control on water surfaces. The oil-barrier wall consists of two layers of sealing sheet which are welded to form a tube. Perpendicular floating is achieved by weighting the tube on one side. The tube can also be inflated with air and preferably has a height of 0.50 to 2.50 m.
