Feeler head

A feeler head for tracing teeth passing by which are coated with a material of varying eddy current losses, a cup-type core which bears an external high-frequency excitation coil and, on a central limb, a measuring coil, being arranged on a head of a support body, and the feeler head and the head being embedded in a sealing block. The technical problem resides in avoiding a temperature dependence of the output signal of the feeler head. An essentially rigid enveloping body (9) surrounds the cup-type core (4) and the head (2) of the support body (1). The cup-type core (4) and the interior of the enveloping body (9) are filled with a permanently elastic compound. The sealing block surrounds the enveloping body (9) and the support body (1) on the outside. <IMAGE>
