PURPOSE:To obtain the printing device which is easy to handle, by constituting a printing head and an ink container as a unitary body, and replacing the printing head and the ink container simultaneously so that air is not mixed within the ink. CONSTITUTION:A compressing chamber 3 is formed by a vibrating plate 2 and the ink container 3. A nozzle 6 is arranged in the vertical direction with respect to the Figure. The ink container 3 is provided with an air hole 9 and fixed to a carriage 12 through fixing members 10 and 11. Even though the ink 7 is used up, the ink container can be simultaneously replaced together with the head, and the air does not enter at the time of the replacement. The fixing member 11 also serves the role of connecting member which supplies an electric signal to a piezoelectric element 1. |
