PURPOSE:To form a plated layer with superior adhesive strength, by immersing a beltlike film in a plating vessel while bending the film in the plating bath at a specified angle and by plating the film surface. CONSTITUTION:A beltlike film 1 made of resin such as polyester, polyimide, polyparabanic acid or polyethylene is immersed in a plating vessel through supporting rolls 2, and a plated layer is formed on the film surface by electroless plating or other method. At this time, the film 1 is bent by means of a plurality of bending rolls 3 to change the course, and the film 1 is run in the plating bath in a state with prescribed tension. The bending angle is adjusted to 120- 240 deg.. Compressive stress to be applied to the film inside is relieved, and a plated layer with superior adhesive strength can be formed. |
