PURPOSE:To obtain an anticorrosive for an Al or Al alloy tank having a superior corrosion preventing effect at a low cost by dissolving a nitrite and mercaptobenzothiazole or a deriv. thereof in water. CONSTITUTION:A nitrite such as sodium nitrite, potassium nitrite or ammonium nitrite is dissolved in water at 10-200ppm concn., and mercaptobenzothiazole or a deriv. thereof such as the sodium salt, potassium salt or amine salt is further dissolved at 1-30ppm concn. The resulting aqueous soln. is inexpensive and has a superior corrosion preventing effect as an anticorrosive for an Al or Al alloy tank. |
