PURPOSE:To read out easily data of small areas selectively, by distributing and storing one-picture components of picture element data in small areas which are distributed to mXn-number of storage modules and consist of mXn-number of picture elements and using a noticed picture element as a reference to access addresses of respective modules simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:A picture storage device is provided with mXn-number of storage modules 100-122 which can be accessed simultaneously, vertical and horizontal address controlling circuits 2 and 3, and output data rearranging circuirs 4 and 5. Data of a noticed picture element, i, j and data (d) indicating the length between picture elements constituting the small area are inputted to circuits 2 and 3 of this device. One-picture components of picture element data are distributed and stored in every small area of picture elements distributed to modules 100-122 by adding circuits, subtracting circuits, data selectors, multiplexers, etc. provided in circuits 2 and 3, and the noticed picture element i, j is used as the reference to access addresses of modules 100-122 simultaneously, and thus, data of small areas are read out selectively easily. |
