PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of using efficiency of the resource for a system, by providing a register which stores previously the estimated value of the data processing capacity as an index value showing the speed of clock, a counter, etc. which totalizes the index values, etc. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a register 1, a counter 2, a comparator 3, speed selectors 4, 5, 6 and 7, a clock generating circuit 8, a communication control firmware 9 and a CPU10. For a general-purpose communication control system which is connected to a device of the opposite side with no intervention of a MODEM, the estimated value of the data processing capacity is previously stored in a register 1 as an index value showing the speed of clock. These index values are totalized by a counter 2. When the start or end information of the data communication is received, the speed of clock is automatically controlled by the firmware so that the index value does not exceeds the index value that is stored in the register 1. Thus the replacement is given to the counter 2. |
