PURPOSE:To reduce the current consumption and to improve the noise tolerance for a gate input circuit, by inserting a switching element in series to a pull- up of pull-down element. CONSTITUTION:A control signal applied to a gate 7 is fixed at a high level, and at the same time a switching element 4 is turned on in a period during which the information is read from an input gate 6. The control signal applied to the gate 7 is fixed at a low level in periods except that during which the information is read from the gate 6. At the same time, the element 4 is turned off. Therfore no current flows to a pull-down resistance 2 in the periods except the read-in time although the gate 6 is set at a high level. |
