The invention relates to an electric motor-powered domestic appliance, in particular a kitchen machine, having a speed-setting device which has a plurality of selection switches which can be actuated by the user to select a speed of the drive motor. An appliance of this type is to be provided which is simple and convenient to operate with low production outlay and, in particular, is safe to operate. This object is achieved in that the selection switches can be locked in the switched-on position and are combined to form a switch block which has an unlocking device which is actuated in each case when one selection switch is switched on and unlocks the other selection switches, an additional on/off switch and/or a timer actuating the unlocking device in an unlocking manner when the appliance is switched off or runs down. <IMAGE> |
