PURPOSE:To detect assuredly the presence or absence of recording paper, by providing a detector which detects plural marks showing there is remainder of paper enough to record at least a sheet of original at the place near the termination of the rolled recording paper. CONSTITUTION:Plural marks or small holes 4a are provided at the place near the termination of rolled recording paper 4 to show there is a remainder of paper enough for reception equivalent to at least a sheet of original. A detecting means 5 detects the edge of the paper where the marks or holes 4a are provided. As a result, it is possible to detect the presence or absence of the paper 4 as well as the time to exchange the paper 4. |
