<p>PURPOSE:To alleviate the peak value of power load, and to improve efficiency by providing each of a plurality of the water heaters with devices capable of previously setting the quantity of hot water used and devices capable of detecting the calorific value of residual hot water, calculating conduction time required by a central controller and uniformly distributing load. CONSTITUTION:The controller is provided with temporary hot-water quantity setters 2, 2' previously setting the quantity of hot water used only once, stationary hot-water quantity setters 3, 3', the residual hot-water quantity detecting means 4, 4' detecting the calorific value of residual hot water and timer devices 5, 5' for setting conduction time to heating elements 6, 6'. A feedwater-temperature sensor 8 detects the temperature of water, a first computing element 9 computes calorific valve which must be stored into each electric water heater 1, 1' from said detecting value and each set value, and a second computing element 10 computes conduction time required to each electric water heater 1, 1' from the difference of the calorific value of residual hot water. A timer controller 11 uniformly distributes each power load obtained by the computing element 10, transmits signals to the timer devices 5, 5' of each electric water heater 1, 1', and controls the conduction time of the heating elements 6, 6'.</p> |
