PURPOSE:To obtain a time piece for a blindman which is capable of signaling time accurately with a sound emitting section so designed that sound stops by closing it with a finger tip by driving a hour/minute sound emitting part for the current time with different signals only in the operation of a manual switch. CONSTITUTION:When a switch St is operated, the output of a flip flop FF2 is inverted so that signals corresponding to minute and hour of the current time are applied to drive controlling circuits KM and HM from time counting circuits MT and HT through a selection circuit SE. Piezo-electric elements MP1... of sound emitting sections corresponding to the minute and hour are driven by signals varied in the minute and hour with a drive circuit DM. Under such a condition, the emission of sound is interrupted by closing openings corresponding to the elements MP1... with a finger. Thus, a time piece for a blindman is obtained which can signal time accurately depending on the position of the openings where the report sound is interrupted. |
