PURPOSE:To easily and quickly measure the amount of coating or film thickness of a sample by preparing a correlation chart showing the degree of coloring of a layer containing a photoconductive pigment or dye and the weight of coating per unit area. CONSTITUTION:The weight of coating per unit area of thin film containing a photoconductive substance or pigment for electrophotogrphic sensitive substance and the chromaticity of the thin film are measured by a color brightness meter, or their reflexibility is measured, and based on such data, a correlation curve 1 (numeral 2 is amount of coating by the unit of mg/cm<2>) of amount of coating and chromaticity, or a correlation curve 3 of reflexibility and amount of coating. By using this curve, the amount of coating (film thickness) of a sample can be easily and quickly obtained. |
