PURPOSE:To select and display a character broadcast image of a CAPTAIN picture to a common color TV picture receiver, by performing the switching between a character broadcast signal process and a CAPTAIN signal process by means of a switch and with a call of a telephone circuit. CONSTITUTION:A picture information terminal device 1 is provided with a character broadcast signal processing part 2, a CAPTAIN signal processing part 3, switches 4A and 4B, a switch control circuit 5, a call signal detecting cricuit 6, a remote control receiving part 7, a remote control transmitting part 8, and a manual/automatic switch 13. In the normal state the output given from the part 2 is delivered to a color TV picture receiver 9. Then if the device 1 is called out through a telephone circuit 11, the call signal switches the switches 4A and 4B to feed the output given from the part 3 to the receiver 9. |
