PURPOSE:To enhance the detection precision of reduction in a liquid amount, by a method wherein a flexible member is confronted within an upwardly and downwardly moving range of a magnetic body upwardly and downwardly moving along the guide pipe in an oil tank corresponding to the oil amount therein and the inclination direction of a support table is changed by the upward and downward movement of the magnetic body. CONSTITUTION:A main magnet 12 in a guide pipe 11 is upwardly and downwardly moved corresponding to the variation of a liquid level and a magnet body 13 is moved in cooperated relation thereto. The flexible member 17 of a detecting mechanism 14 for emitting an alarm pushed down corresponding to the upward and downward movement of the magnet body 13 to forcedly incline a switch support table 15 to a reverse direction. A weight (mercury) 23 is tumbled along an inclined groove 20 to be fitted in a lower recessed part and held in this state even if the magnet body 13 is further moved downwardly. Therefore, by pushing the moving magnetic body 13 downwardly or upwardly, the inclination of the switch support table 15 is forcedly changed to carry out the on/off changing-over of a mercury switch 16 and an alarm is emitted. By this mechanism, the detection of a liquid level can be carried out in high precision and high reliability without generating faulty operation due to vibration. |
