发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MEASURING HEAT OF OXIDIZING REACTION
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable highly-precise investigation of an exothermic action from a range of relatively low temperature by the use of a small quantity of a sample, by empolying a sample vessel losing little quantity of heat, by catching a very small heat of reaction, and by controlling precisely the temperatures of the sample and a thermostat. CONSTITUTION:A heat-insulating plate 14 is mounted on the upper surface of the base plate of an inner vessel 3, a heat-insulating material 15 is laid on the upper surface thereof, a smaple- holding film 5 having excellent air-tightness is fitted between the upper cylindrical projection 4 of an upper cover 3a and the lower cylindrical projection 6a of the base plate 6, and thus a sample-holding member 1 is assembled. A pulverized sample 18 is put into the member 1 through an inlet 9. Next, the inlet 9 being closed, the inner vessel 3 is fitted to an outer vessel 2 and a temperature detecting terminal 16 to the sample 18, and an air supply pipe 11, an exhaust port 7 and a pressure regulating pipe 17 are closed tightly. Thereafter, a sample vessel Eb is dipped in a thermostat 27 having a temperature adjusting device 25. Then, after the temperatures of the sample 18 and the thermostat 27 are stabilized at prescribed levels, air is passed into the holding member 1 through a flowmeter 21 and measurement is conducted. The difference in temperature between the sample 18 and the thermostat 27 is detected, and based thereon, a current to a heater 26 of the thermostat 27 is adjusted.
