PURPOSE:To control the variable range of then duty factor of the output pulse width to be modulated within the desired value, by switching a modulating input signal with a clock signal and then comparing the input signal with an integrated waveform of the clock signal. CONSTITUTION:A clock signal (a) applied to a terminal 1 is converted into a clock signal (c) by a buffer amplifying circuit 3. The signal (c) is branched to two paths. One of these two clock signals is applied to diode 5 to convert a modulating input signal (b) applied to a terminal 2 into a rectangular wave (e) which has a binary of the level and the ground of the input signal via a resistance 4. While the other clock signal is applied to an integration circuit 6 to obtain an output signal (d) after integration. The signal (d) and the waveform (e) are applied to a comparator 7 for comparison with each other. Then an output (f) is extracted through a terminal 8. |
