<p>PURPOSE:To improve the space factor of the display section of a display which displays the level of signals to be recorded, by constituting the device so that the non-signal part forming condition of magnetic tapes can be displayed. CONSTITUTION:When a switch S14 is operated for the music selecting operation (i.e. program searching), the switch S14 is maintained under the ON condition by, for example, a mechanism which is not shown in the diagram. Under this condition, a music selector 17 starts the music selecting operation and, at the same time, a transistor Q2 is turned on and switching elements S2 and S4 are turned off. At this time, a magnetic tape is reproduced at a high speed on the tape recorder, and, therefore, the signal is introduced from a signal source 11 through an attenuator composed of a preamplifier 12, MPXF13, and resistor R1 and R2. But the signal is not supplied to the input terminal of an NR circuit 14, since the switching element S2 is turned off and the signal is muted.</p> |
