<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of compression by making a slant angle of slant surface of a piston carrier larger than that of a piston piece to make the piston carrier contact continuously the piston piece. CONSTITUTION:When a piston carrier 9 is rotated about 180 deg., a piston piece 10 is lowered to the lowermost position to direct first and second slant surfaces 11, 14 to the same direction. Slant angle theta1 of the first slant surface 11 is formed larger than that theta2 of the second slant surface 14 so that a slight gap is produced between the lowermost portion 11a of the first slant surface 11 and the uppermost portion 14a of the second slant surface 14. Thus, continuous contact movement is carried out without damages due to collision to improve the efficiency of compression in an opposed swash plate system compressor.</p> |
