PURPOSE:To surely fix wheels of an automobile at its parking and stopping, by arranging clutch elements mutually disengageably engaged to an axle and frame supporting said axle and engaging and disengaging said clutch elements correspondingly to the driving of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A brake disc 10 is mounted to a wheel mounting member 6 mounted by spline fitting to an axle 1. A meshing clutch element 12 is formed to one side of said disc 10, and a meshing clutch element 13 meshed to said element 12 is slidably fitted to a spline 14 formed to the periphery of a bearing housing 2a of a car body frame. Said element 13 is connected to a car body through a toggle mechanism consisting of a bell crank and compression spring. While a movable iron core 18 is provided to the element 13 and movably controlled by excitation of a solenoid coil 19 in such a manner that the both elements 12, 13 are meshed at stopping of an engine while disengaged at driving of the engine. |
