PURPOSE:To obtain a cloth having a shape keeping function, appropriate elasticity, and a preferable feeling by coating an adhesive contg. a foaming agent on a cloth, and heating, fusing, and foaming the agent. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive consisting essentially of a resin contg. a foaming agent such as sodium bicarbonate and azodicarboxylic acid amide and having a cross-linking functional group is coated on natural fibers such as cotton and wool and chemical fibers such as rayon and acetate in a desired pattern in the haircloth substituting method using a foaming adhesive. The material is heated, fused, and foamed. As a result, thickness and elasticity can be imparted to the adhesive layer in the thermal fixing, and a haircloth substituting function is realized without using a haircloth. |
