PURPOSE:To simplify the air exhausting work and prevent a rudder from being operated by an external force, by allowing the working oil on the return side which is supplied from a both-rod cylinder to be returned to the tank of a helm pump through a common return passage. CONSTITUTION:The air exhausting work can be carried-out simply at one position in the tank of a helm pump 1, since the working oil on the return side is returned to the return port R and the tank of the helm pump 1, passing through the return passages 61a, 61b, 62, and 63 which are installed specifically, regardless whether a rat handle 2 is turned right or left. As the working oil on the return side is always returned to the tank, passing through the return passages, even if the helm pump 1 is in operation, air exhausting is considered to be continued, so the air in a circuit can be removed completely, the response performance of a rudder can be improved, and fluctuation of the rudder can be prevented. |
