PURPOSE:To enable the quick and automatic access to a replacement record, by dividing the tracks of a rotary type storage device to plural track groups and assigning the replacement tracks for the purpose of recording the replacement records in each of the respective track groups. CONSTITUTION:A rotary type storage part 1 reads the address part in succession to a record start mark upon receiving the read instruction in the address part of a record through a signal line 12 and feeds the same through a signal line 14 to to a comparator 5. The address part read by said part is compared with the address information fed from an address storage circuit 3 through a signal line 16 in the comparator 5, and the result of the comparison is communicated with a control circuit 2 for execution of the instruction through a signal line 18. When the coincidence of the comparison is communicated through the line 18, the circuit 12 instructs the reading of the data part in succession to the address part to the storage part 1 through a signalline 12. The data part read in the storage part 1 is fed through the signal line 14 to a data storage circuit 4 and to a priority device through a signal line 15 from the circuit 4. |
