PURPOSE:To prevent starting of automatic feeding of originals while an original and copying paper are dissident in sizes and directions by providing a permission button for automatic feeding which permits the start of automatic original feeding when the machine is operated by the operator. CONSTITUTION:A titled feeder is so arranged that, in an ordinary copying machine, the size of an inserted original is detected, and is compared with the size of the copying paper under use, and when both sizes do not coincide, a pilot lamp 10 for dissidence of original and paper sizes, and that the direction of the inserted original is detected and is compared with the direction of the copying paper under use, and when both do not coincide, a pilot lamp 11 for dissidence of original and paper directions is lighted. When the lamp 10 and/or 11 are lighted, the operator changes the sizes or directions of the original or paper so as to make the sizes or directions coincident so that both of the lamps 10 and 11 are put out. If the operator depresses a permission button switch 9 for automatic feeding, the operation of automatic original feeding is started. |
