PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction and to improve accuracy by providing a switch supporting base freely oscillatory on the outer side of a non-magnetic guide pipe contg. a main magnet that follows up the change in liquid level. CONSTITUTION:A switch supporting base 14 is provided freely oscillatory on the outer side of a non-magnetic guide pipe 11 contg. a main magnet that follows up the change in liquid level. A mercury switch 14 is placed on the base 14 and a magnetic material 16 is provided in one end part of the base 14 so as to project therefrom. As the centroid is shifted by the movement of a weight 22, the base 14 maintains the inclination of the switch in either on or off state automatically. According to such constitution, the use of the mercury switch which has high mechanical strength and is free from malfunction by oscillation, etc. is made possible, and the liquid level is detected with high accuracy and reliability. |
