PURPOSE:To make the unitary management of programs possible, by storing programs collectively in a host and transferring and storing programs in response to a transfer request in the data processing system consisting of intelligent terminal machines. CONSTITUTION:When power is supplied to terminal machines 15a-15d, a communication program is read into the storage part and is stored therein, and the message of the program transfer request to a host 11 is transferred to the host 11. The host 11 reads this message to discriminate a requested program name and retrieves a program library 14 and transfers the program to designated terminal machines 15a-15d. In designated terminal machines 15a-15d, the transferred program is stored in the storage part, thus terminating the program loading. |
