PURPOSE:To manufacture a Ti (alloy) wire at high drawing speed and at low cost by drawing hot rolled material necessary times using roll dies without descaling, and peeling after intermediate annealing in necessary stage. CONSTITUTION:Hot rolled material is drawn necessary times passing through roll dies having combined V-H rolls without descaling. Meanshile, intermediate annealing is performed in necessary stage. After final annealing, if required, removal of surface flaws, descaling and sizing are carried out by peeling. A grinder, a rotary cutting tool, a shaving die etc. can be used for peeling. |
